Inskrywingsriglyne vir hierdie afdeling:

  1. Moenie van die sillabus afwyk nie.
  2. Maksimum van vyf deelnemers per kategorie, per graad, per skool of privaat onderwyser. Skryf deelnemers in die korrekte kategorie in.
  3. Deelnemers moet leiding van 'n onderwyser ontvang.
  4. Die werk moet die deelnemer se graad pas.
  5. Deelnemers ontvang sertifikate na elke afdeling.
  6. Waar van toepassing, sal 'n trofee na 'n afdeling oorhandig word.
  7. Elke deelnemer moet 'n kopie van die werk aan die beoordelaar gee.
  8. In 'n groepaktiwiteit moet elke deelnemer se naam vermeld word.
  9. Geen navrae oor die beoordelaar se besluit(e) sa beantwoord word nie.
  10. Sodra die inskrywings verwerk is, sal die afrigters/ onderwysers 'n naamlys met kategorienommers en tye van die beoordeling ontvang. Kontroleer die name vir korrekte spelling en stuur enige veranderinge terug voor die sperdatum soos verskaf. Daarna sal 'n boete gehef word.
  11. Boetes: Indien 'n deelnemer van 'n item onttrek na die sperdatum, of nie opdaag vir 'n sessie sonder om 'n dokterserfikaat te voorsien, sal 'n boete van R20 per item per kind gehef word. Dit is betaalbaar aan die Stellenbosch Kunswedstryd. Die onderwyser is verantwoordelik om dit in te vorder.

Rules:

  1. Adhere to the syllabus.
  2. Maximum of five participants per category, per grade, per school or private teacher. Enter participant into correct category.
  3. Participants must be given guidance by a teacher.
  4. The work must be suited to the participant's school grade.
  5. Participants will receive certificates after a session.
  6. Where applicable a trophy will be awarded after a session.
  7. Each participant must give a copy of the work to the adjudicator.
  8. In a group activity each member's name must be submitted.
  9. No enquiries regarding the adjudicator's decision(s) will be answered.
  10. As soon as the entries have been processed the teachers will receive a list of names with category numbers and times of adjudication. Please control these for correct spellling of names and return any corrections before the cut-off date. Thereafter a fine will be levied.
  11. Fines: Should a participant withdraw after the cut-off date or not arrive without a doctor's certificate being forwarded, a fine of R20 per child per category will be issued. This is payable to the Stellenbosch Kunswedstryd. The responsibility remain the teacher's.

AFRIKAANS

Poësie

Neem persoonlikheid, ervaringsveld en graad van die leerling in aanmerking by die keuse van die gedig. Maak gebruik van pousering, frasering, tempo- en toonhoogtewisseling. Vermy uiters lang poësie. Gedwonge bewegings is onaanvaarbaar. Die gebruik van Suiwer Afrikaans is 'n sterk aanbeveling.

Prosa

Deelnemers moet streng volgens die toegelate tyd optree. Rekwisiete en gedwonge bewegings is onaanvaarbaar. Die prosateks moet vertelling- sowel as dialooggedeeltes bevat. 'n Afskrif moet vir die beoordelaar beskikbaar wees.

Gedramatiseerde Prosa

Bewegings en karakterisering is toelaatbaar, maar moet tot die minimum beperk word. Geen uittreksel uit ’n drama nie word toegelaat nie. Die gesproke prosa is en bly die belangrikste - onthou dit is nie 'n drama nie.

Dialoog

’n Voorstelling deur een of twee persone wat, deur middel van woord, gebaar en gesigspel verskeie karakters uitbeeld. ’n Samehangende gedeelte uit ’n toneelstuk of ’n verwerking uit ’n prosawerk mag gebruik word. Die minimum dekorstukke, kostuums en rekwisiete is toelaatbaar. Gereedmaak van verhoog word beperk tot 3 minute.

Monoloog

Konsertprogram

  • Die program moet ’n sentrale tema hê.
  • Die klem lê op die oorspronklike keuse en samestelling van prosa, poësie, sang, musiek, beweging en dialoog. Die dialoog gedeeltes mag uit 'n toneelstuk, of uit prosa, of eie geskrewe dialoog geneem word.
  • Kostuums, rekwisiete en ameublement, tot ’n minimum, is toelaatbaar. Die opstel hiervan word beperk tot 3 minute.
  • Maksimum van 6 (ses) deelnemers, indien in ’n groep. 
  • 'n Kopie van die program moet vir die beoordelaar beskikbaar wees.

ENGLISH

Poetry : Own Choice

The choice of poem must be suited to the personality, experience and grade of the child. Make use of differences in pauses, phrasing, tempo, pitch and tone. Unnatural movements are unacceptable. Avoid over long poems.
Grade 6:Avoid too many Roald Dahl entries per school.
Grade 7: may not perform any of Roald Dahl's Work.

Dialogue

A dialogue presented by one or two persons through the medium of word, gesture, and expression depicting different characters. A dialogue section out of a play, prose or an adaptation from a book, highlighting characters may be used. The use of basic décor, props and costumes, to a minimum, is permissable. Time limit for stage setting 3 minutes.

Monologue

A solo performance with a possible imaginary character. Costumes and props to a minimum. Take space into consideration.

Concert programme

  • The programme must have a central theme.
  • The emphasis lies in the original choice and combination of poetry, prose, song, music, movement and dialogue. An extract from a play, from prose or won written dialogue may be used.
  • Costumes, props and décor to a minimum. The setting of the stage is limited to 3 minutes.
  • Maximum of 6 (six), if participating in a group.
  • A copy of the programme to be handed to the adjudicator.
